  • Gary Greenstein
    • Gary Greenstein is a board-certified American periodontist well known for his scholarship and overall contribution to evidence-based periodontal and dental implant literature.
      Greenstein graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1972. He received his postgraduate periodontal training from the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York, completing the program in 1980 and receiving a Masters´ degree from the University of Rochester the following year.[1] To maintain his scholarship at the highest level possible, Greenstein completed an implant fellowship in 2008 from NYU under the tutelage of Drs. Dennis Tarnow and John Cavallaro.[2]

      Greenstein has published over 130 articles related to periodontics and implant dentistry and is on the international
      lecture circuit.

      Greenstein is a clinical professor of dental medicine at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and implant dentistry in Freehold, New Jersey.

      Greenstein is the recipient of the following awards:

      The William J. Gies Award from the American Academy of Periodontology for contributions to literature in 1997
      The Hirschfeld Award in 2000 from Northeast Society of Periodontists
      The Fellowship Award in 2000 from American Academy of Periodontology
      The Distinguished Service Award 2010 from the American Academy of Periodontology
  • Robert Escow
    • Dr. Robert N. Eskow has been practicing in Essex and Union Counties for over thirty-five years. He received a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and a Master of Science in Dentistry with a specialty certificate in Periodontology from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry.
      n addition to practicing, Dr. Eskow has taught on the graduate school level in the areas of periodontics, implant dentistry and oral medicine. He presently serves as Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontology at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, New York University, College of Dentistry. He had previous faculty appointments at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine, Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry and Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
      Dr. Eskow has appointments at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ.

      Dr. Eskow is both a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Oral Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Implantology, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
      He has published more than forty articles in scientific journals and has made more than seventy-five presentations to professional organizations and dental schools, both nationally and internationally. His contributions to the dental profession were recognized when he was inducted into the American College of Dentists. The Academy of Oral Medicine has also honored him with its highest award for service to the Academy and to the field of Oral Medicine. Dr. Eskow has been recognized by his professional colleagues by being named one of the top dentists in New Jersey in the New Jersey Monthly Magazine, in The Best Dentists in America and in The Leading Physicians of the World.
  • Dennis Tarnow
    • Dennis P. Tarnow is currently Clinical Professor of Periodontology and Director of Implant Education at Columbia School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tarnow has a certificate in Periodontics and Prosthodontics and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. He is a recipient of the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology and Teacher of the Year Award from New York University. Dr. Tarnow has a private practice in New York City, and has been honored with a wing named after him at New York University College of Dentistry. He has published over one hundred articles on perio-prosthodontics and implant dentistry and has coauthored three textbooks including one in 2008 titled Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Tarnow has lectured extensively in the United States and internationally in over thirty countries.
  • Stephen chu
    • Dr. Stephen Chu received his doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1984 and his master’s degree in restorative dentistry and certificate in post-graduate Fixed Prosthodontics from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1986. He subsequently obtained his dental technician certification in dental ceramics in 1996 and ASMDT status in 1998 at New York University College of Dentistry. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Implant Dentistry, Director of the Advanced CDE Program in Aesthetic Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, Associate Professor and Director of Esthetic Education at Columbia University and Prosthodontic Section Editor for PPAD [Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry, Montage Media Corp.].

      Dr. Chu maintains a private practice with Dr. Dennis Tarnow in New York City [New York Center for Specialized Dentistry] in aesthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. Dr. Chu is a contributor to The Science and Art of Porcelain Laminate Veneers, authored by Dr. Galip Gurel (Quintessence Publishing, 2003), The Fundamentals of Esthetic Implant Dentistry, authored by Dr. Abdelsalam Askary (Blackwell Publishing 2007), and Contemporary Esthetic Dentistry authored by Drs. Mark Wolff and John Calamia (Dental Clinics of North America 2007). He has published over 15 articles and lectures worldwide on the subjects of aesthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. He has recently co-authored The Fundamentals of Color: Shade Matching and Communication in Esthetic Dentistry (Quintessence Publishing, 2004) and is completing Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry: Principles and Practice (Montage Media Corp., 2007) co-authored with Dr. Dennis Tarnow and Mr. Jason Kim, CDT.

      Prof. Dr. Daniel Buser, University of Bern/Switzerland
      Dr. Daniel Buser is Professor and Chairman at the Department of Oral
      Surgery at the University of Bern in Switzerland since 2000. He spent
      several sabbaticals at Harvard University in Boston (1989-91), at
      Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas (1995), at the University of
      Melbourne (2007/08), and again at Harvard University in 2016.
      He served as President of various academic associations including the
      European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) in 1996/97, the Swiss
      Society of Oral Implantology (SSOI) in 1999-2002, the Swiss Society of
      Oral Surgery and Stomatology (SSOS) in 2002-07. He was also
      President of the ITI (2009-13), the world’s largest association in the
      field of implant dentistry.
      He received several scientific awards by professional organizations such
      as the ITI, the AO, the AAP and the AAOMS. Recently, he was honored
      with an Honorary Professorship by the University of Buenos Aires
      (2011), the Brånemark Osseointegration Award by the
      Osseointegration Foundation in the USA (2013), an Honorary Doctorate
      by the University of Szeged in Hungary (2014), the Jerome and
      Dorothy Schweitzer Research Award by the Greater New York Academy
      of Prosthodontics (GNYAP) in New York (2015), and most recently the
      ITI Honorary Fellowship (2017) by ITI.
      His main research areas are in surface technology, long-term stability
      of dental implants, tissue regeneration around dental implants, and
      Guided Bone Regeneration. He has authored and co-authored with his
      team more than 350 publications, and several text books including two
      GBR books and several ITI Treatment Guides. He widely lectures at
      national and international conferences.

  • Stefan Fickl, DMD, PhD
    • Dr. Fickl received his dental degree from Erlangen University, Germany in 2003 and completed his postgraduate training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in Munich, Germany in 2007. From 2007 to 2009 he served as a Faculty Member at the Department of Peridontology and Implant Dentistry (Chair: Dr. Dennis Tarnow) at New York University, New York, United States. He then joined Würzburg University, Germany, where he received his PhD in 2011 and since then serves as an Associate Professor for Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Fickl maintains at the same time a private office in Nuremberg-Fuerth, Germany dedicated to periodontics, implant dentistry and esthetics. Dr. Fickl is an internationally known speaker in the field of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and author of numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
